This heavyweight leather is a hair-on cowhide with natural length coarse hair. This leather is tanned in the veneto area of italy by a tannery specialized in hair-on cow leather. Because the hair is natural there can be inconsistency in the length direction, texture and color. This color is achieved by bleaching the natural cow hair. Variations in color and especially yellow shadings can be present due to natural urine stains. This means no two products are exactly alike, giving each its individual uniqueness.
